Sr Miriam James

Sr. Miriam James Heidland, SOLT, is a Catholic speaker, author, and podcaster who shares her powerful testimony of God’s love and mercy. She is a member of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT), a missionary community that serves in areas of deepest apostolic need.

Sr. Miriam grew up in Woodland, Washington, and was a successful college athlete at the University of Nevada-Reno, where she played volleyball and majored in Communications. After experiencing a radical conversion in 1998, she felt called to give her life to Jesus and joined SOLT. Since then, she has served in various missions in Rome, Seattle, and Texas, as well as working with elementary school students, parish ministry, coaching high school volleyball, and co-hosting a Catholic radio program.

Sr. Miriam has a master’s degree in Theology from the Augustine Institute and is the author of three bestselling books: Loved as I Am, Behold, and Restore. She also co-hosts the Abiding Together podcast, which offers spiritual insights and practical wisdom for Catholic women. She speaks frequently at national and international events on topics such as authentic love and conversion, forgiveness and mercy, the healing power of Christ, and the dignity and beauty of womanhood.

Sr. Miriam’s story has been featured in various media outlets, including The Seattle Times, The National Catholic Register, Relevant Radio, Sirius XM, Catholic Answers Live, EWTN’s The Journey Home and Life on the Rock, as well as at Steubenville conferences, FOCUS’ SEEK conference, the National Catholic Youth Conference, the USCCB Convocation, and many other retreats and conferences.

Sr. Miriam’s passion is to help others encounter the love of God and to live in the freedom and joy of being his beloved sons and daughters. She invites everyone to join her in following the Lord into the depths of their hearts and discovering his transforming grace.
