Dr. Greg Bottaro
Dr. Greg Bottaro: Catholic psychologist, expert on Catholic Mindfulness
Dr. Greg Bottaro is the founder and director of the CatholicPsych Institute, a mental health organization that integrates Catholic philosophy and theology with sound psychology.
He is also the developer of Catholic Mindfulness, a program that teaches how to practice mindfulness in harmony with the Catholic faith. Dr. Bottaro has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences, a graduate school that combines the best of modern science and the wisdom of the Church. Before pursuing his degree, he spent four years as a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal, living among the poor and learning from Fr. Benedict Groeschel. He discerned a call to marriage and family life, and now lives in Connecticut with his wife Barbra and their seven children.
Dr. Bottaro is passionate about helping people discover their true identity and purpose in Christ, and he offers online therapy, coaching, courses, and retreats through his institute.
